The Senior Project Director, Special Projects provides oversight and coordination for initiatives led by or impacting Global Project Leadership, engaging with Project Support Office (PSO) to drive consistency in: planning, forecasting, operational excellence, portfolio level decision making and achieving agreed revenue margin.
The Role provides thought leadership, strategic direction and tactical implementation across GPL to drive transformation and change. This position will help identify and assess strategic opportunities to drive growth for GPL and may contribute actively in proposal development, using their knowledge and experience to develop innovative plans and program architecture. This role is highly visible and requires frequent interaction with key business and Corporate functional leaders.
Key Accountabilities:Lead, promote, and facilitate implementation of Strategic Plan (Improvement) Initiatives so that improvement and change becomes part of the cultureDrive and Own the execution and sustainability of improvement project resultsDeveloping business cases, ROI analysis, project management around new initiatives and investments & help drive execution by closely working with GPL Leadership team & Parexel SBU’s as a representative of GPL.Participate in operating reviews to ensure focus and sense of urgency with respect to strategic priorities.Establish a GPL communication and engagement framework as part of a culture change strategy for project management Partner with leadership to develop strategies to close capability and talent gapsAlign process improvement, change management, and technology initiatives across GPL to eliminate redundancy and conflicting priorities, driving efficiency and re-shaping focus towards high-value GPL activitiesBe the change agent needed to help identify & drive efficiencies on an ongoing basis.
