We are seeking aQuality Control Supervisorfor ourMicrobial Solutionssite inCharleston, SC. This role is responsible for supervising environmental monitoring of production areas to ensure appropriate conditions are maintained.

The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for the following: Oversee Quality Control Environmental Monitoring staff; perform and document the training of existing and incoming Quality Control employees onlaboratory test methods Maintain Environnmental Monitoring System sampling sites, readings and reporting as it applies to production fills and routine sampling Oversee the scheduling of laboratory functions to ensure timely product release Management, development, and review of controlled documents such as SOPs and other department protocols Perform internal audits to ensure preparedness for customer audits; serve as point-of-contact with customers to support audits hosted by Quality Assurance May provide support to Quality Control release testing of incoming materials and supplies, and formulation experiments Perform other related duties as assigned Job Qualifications The following are the minimum requirements for the Quality Control Supervisor: Education:Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Microbiology or related discipline Experience:three to five years' experience with GMP products preferred. Prior experience with laboratory operations and auditing strongly preferred An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above Other: computer literacy must include word processing, spreadsheet and advanced match skills. Attention to detail in all aspects of work is essential
