Summary

The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable team and coordinating the operations and workload of the LATAM AP function. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate high levels of customer service and an understanding of Accounts Payable processes/compliance including SOX. The role will report to the Senior Accounts Payable Manager based in Chennai and involve a significant amount of interaction with both internal and external third parties. The Accounts Payable Manager will also be required to analyze data, provide reports to management as needed, assist with projects and continually evaluate current processes for areas of improvements.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable team; booking and payment of investigator payments, invoices, payment requests and employee expenses in a timely manner. Effectively manage the teams ensuring they are trained appropriately and provided with on the job assistance, advice and direction.Demonstrate consistent ability to prioritise responsibilities and meet AP timelines.Ensure day-to-day activities of the teams are accurate, of a high quality and in line with internal controls.Develop and maintain pro-active working relationships with both internal and external customers.Identify, discuss and negotiate resolution of issues/concerns with appropriate groups in an open and timely manner. Deal with queries from investigators, suppliers and employees in an open and collaborative way.Interact with both internal and external auditors and ensure processes are SOX compliant. Assist with Sponsor audits and query resolution as required.Effectively direct, motivate, monitor and manage work priorities of self and direct reports. Including succession planning and staff development.Take a leadership role in terms of implementing improvements to the AP function which better enables and enhances ICON's business.

What you need?

-5+ as a Sr. Accounts Payable experience

-Advanced English
