We are seeking Corporate Accounting Interns for our Accounting team located in Wilmington, MA.

An Internship/Co-op at Charles River Labs provides real world, hands-on experience for college students looking to gain knowledge and skills required for your career field of choice, while giving you an unparalleled internship experience.  We are dedicated to ensuring our Co-op/Intern population can experience the ability to Grow, Perform, and Succeed during their time on board. 

The Corporate Accounting Intern will be utilized to assist the team in our monthly general ledger close, including processing journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, creating property, plant and equipment review packages and processing cash transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)and Company policy for a $3.5 billion global clinical research organization. In addition, the Intern will have the opportunity to interact with various accounting personnel at various levels of experience and may have the opportunity to assist with updating accounting policies and procedures. The Intern will work in one of several teams; Shared Services, Revenue Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, Indirect Tax, Fixed Assets, or Reporting & Technical Accounting. Job Qualifications

The following are minimum requirements related to the Corporate Accounting Intern position.

•    Student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor's in their Junior or Senior year OR Master's degree in Finance or Accounting

•    Minimum GPA of 3.0

•    Ability to fulfill a minimum of a 3-month internship, 4-6 months preferred. Start date flexible dependent on student availability.

•    Effective communication and listening skills in a teamwork environment

•    Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects
