Job Summary

We are seeking aLaboratory Technician I to work in our MDX Department located in Wilmington, MA

•    Shift is:  1pm - 9pm (Monday through Friday) •    Great pay with a shift differential •    Up to $1,000 Sign On Bonus •    Great benefits and use of our on-site gym!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs technical laboratory activities in support of client studies or procedures.
  • Records data in compliance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
  • Reconciles customer paperwork with submission documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Makes detailed observations and maintains documentation of all laboratory work.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The following are minimum requirements related to the Laboratory Technician I position.

  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED).
  • Previous experience in a laboratory or animal science environment.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be detail oriented and a multitasker.
  • Works independently, but also a team player.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in biological sciences or related discipline.
  • 2 years of previous related experience in a Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Contract Research Organization laboratory environment.
  • Experience with Aseptic techniques.

The pay range for this position is $22.00-23.50 / hour, plus a 10% shift differential. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
