Job Summary

We are seeking an Intern for our Microbial Solutions business that can assist and support our Marketing & client engagement team initiatives remotely. In this role, the marketing intern will collaborate with the strategic marketing team to produce a wide variety of marketing deliverables and reports within all stages of our marketing efforts – from product launch documentation, market research, event support and email communications.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support social media efforts including posting, planning, documenting, analysis, and communication with the larger team. • Provide copy and branding review for product documentation from our Product management, Quality and regulatory, marketing and R&D teams. • Support for technical documentation formatting and layout to adhere to Charles River Microbial Solutions branding guidelines. • Help coordinate and manage global marketing tradeshows and seminars with the strategic marketing and events specialist team. • Support with data compilation, data quality assurance, analysis and reporting drawing on several different platforms (including but not limited to online data sources, Salesforce.com and Google Analytics). • Coordinate materials for a monthly newsletter, including copy review and content approvals.  • Researching and procuring a variety of advertising options for various events as needed. • Utilize SalesForce (CRM System) to monitor, advance opportunity status progression and review/report on completed projects • Collaborate and assist with Event specialist on virtual and in-person event logistics and management (webinars, seminars, workshops, chapter events, conferences, etc.) • Ensure a competent and professional image to the customer and an accurate portrayal of business strategies both on the phone, email and at customer events. • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A /B.S.) or equivalent in communications, marketing, or related discipline. • Experience: 1-3 years related experience in marketing or customer services. • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute. • Requires a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $20-$25 per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
