We are seeing a Technical Project Manager for our RMS Technical Portfolio Management Department located in Wilmington, MA.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages key client accounts and other client programs that require moderately complex to complex planning and in-depth analysis to ensure that expectations and deadlines are achieved. Functions as the primary client contact, with guidance from senior scientific staff, for activities related to the planning and execution of client projects. Interacts with clients in order to understand their requirements to disseminate and partner with Operational Staff, Client Services, Business Development and Quality Assurance Staff. Organizes, collects, prepares and distributes information necessary to ensure operational milestones are met from development on contracts to final reporting. Recommends, and implements study management, including the development and submission of IACUC and study protocols. Development and implementation of new processes to enhance the overall GEMS portfolio.  Provides mentoring and training for departmental staff on new services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S) or equivalent in life sciences or related discipline. 3 years related experience An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience. Must be able to manage resources/staff without direct reporting relationships. Proven ability to multi-task, have excellent organizational skills and pays attention to detail. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess analytical thinking and problem solving skills and be able to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations change. Proficient in MS Office Suite.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: AALAS certification. Experience with Colony Mgmt. Systems, SAP or other ERP systems. Experience developing and submissions of IACUC and study protocols.
