In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary Partner with IT as the functional owner for business data management system. In conjunction with users and managers, define requirements, document specifications, implement and support operational information systems. Recommend and develop solutions focusing on automation and information systems. Implement and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to operational systems. Lead operational system training and/or ensure effective knowledge transfer to those responsible for training. Partner with other technical staff to plan, fix and implement updates as required. Identify areas for operational process improvements and innovations. May oversee the completion of projects including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc. Identify relevance, interpret business data to determine trend and forecast. Develop processes to review and report on business data for senior management. Assist with preparation of business and operating plans. Perform data mining and statistical analysis of data. Assist with invoicing process. Ensure adherence to pertinent regulatory requirements and to departmental policies, practices and procedures.

  Job Qualifications  

Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent, preferably in a scientific-related discipline.

Experience:  Five to six years related experience as a business analyst for a CRO, Pharmaceutial company or similar business. 

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Certification/Licensure: None.

Other:  Must be able to influence resources/staff without direct reporting relationships. Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail required. Must possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and be able to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations change. Working knowledge of computer software (MS Word, MS Excel and databases) required.
