Strategic Writer, Proposals

The Strategic Writer, Proposals, Pre-Sales role will be to support the development of writing compelling proposals, which will include understanding client requirements from CRD/CSD, extracting operational considerations from Functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and converting them into highly tailored, differentiating proposal language for strategically identified opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

To work alongside the assigned proposal manager to produce compelling and differentiating proposal language for inclusion into client proposals

Proposal DevelopmentWork closely with Solutions Consultants, Functional SMEs, Feasibility Leads and CRD/CSD to perform appropriate client / indication / therapeutic area research to support proposal developmentAdd value to strategy meetings to:Identify issues and client requirementsRecommend proposal and study conduct strategy, and internal resourcing, based on experienceSupport senior management and multi-disciplinary discussions to assure full and high-quality inputEstablish agreement on timelines and deliverables from the strategy meeting, and follow-up to ensure adherenceIdentify issues and client requirementsRecommend proposal and study conduct strategy, and internal resourcing, based on experienceSupport senior management and multi-disciplinary discussions to assure full and high-quality inputEstablish agreement on timelines and deliverables from the strategy meeting, and follow-up to ensure adherenceWrite and create client specific proposal text to:Accurately reflect strategy discussions with compelling and differentiating contentMeet Parexel and client needs / expectationsAssure accuracy and appropriateness of text and attachmentsOther Tasks:Ensure information relating to proposals and are processed into and maintained in relevant databases and librariesSupport the development of case studies or other related materialsParticipate in Lessons Learned meetings, as neededMay provide training / mentoringQualificationsSkillsAbility to craft compelling and differentiating proposal strategy languageConfident to deal with all internal and external staff levels at all levelsHighly organized with outstanding oral and written communication skillsComprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases)Education

Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business or equivalent. MBA preferred

Minimum Work Experience
