Italian Hospital studies Effectiveness of GEMDOX in Relapsed Osteosarcoma

Italian hospital Azienda Ospedaliera Ospedale Infantile Regina Margherita Sant'Anna is enrolling patients into the clinical trial investigating Study of Effectiveness of GEMDOX in Relapsed Osteosarcoma.

The trial is designed to enroll male and female 4 years and older and is being conducted in the Istituto Nazionale Tumori, Milan, Milano; Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, Bologna and AOU Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino - Presidio Infantile Regina Margherita, Turin, Italy.

The study start date is April 24, 2020.

The population that can be enrolled into this study includes the patients with relapsed osteosarcoma treated with gemcitabine- docetaxel after a first line with HD- IFO.

Among the inclusion criteria are:

• Age at diagnosis of high grade osteosarcoma >= 4
• Received first line treatment with HD IFO
• Following HD IFO treatment, they have been diagnosed refractory disease and they satisfy at least one of the following criteria.
