Development of a comprehensive regional strategy that aligns with the financial and strategic objectives of the overall commercial team

Develop of territory/account strategic & tactical plans with their team to achieve territory financial goals, in support of achieving regional and overall HemaCare financial targets

Provide continuous performance-related support & feedback to the BDEs & AMs

Develop & support of robust, real-time territory & regional forecasts

Work with Sales Administration Coordinator for SFDC dashboard & adoption metrics

Responsible for developing major account relationships at the executive level to expand sales.

Develop & support strategic relationships with KOLs within key or targeted accounts in the region

Regularly assemble and provide VOS/VOC feedback to leadership

Assists with the hiring, coaching, training, and mentoring of assigned sales representatives within the region, including corrective actions and development activities.

Collaborate effectively with partners across the organization to obtain sponsorship and support, resolve issues, and expedite selling. Expand internal networks, contacts, and relationships to drive selling effectiveness across the region.

Enhance job knowledge by participating in local educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations

Take a leadership role within the sales team and cross-functional workgroups to compete for special projects and assignments

Identify, explore, and present business partnership opportunities to senior management that add value to the company product and services offering

Identify co-marketing partnerships and collaborations with “best in class” companies with complementary product offerings

Assist with executing other daily tasks or special projects, as assigned Job Qualifications

Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive matters

Ability to negotiate and understanding of marketing skills

Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results

Ability to created and deliver presentations

Fast learner and a quick thinker

Education, Experience, and Licensure

BS or BA degree in a scientific discipline; MS, MBA or Ph.D. preferred

Eight or more years of experience within life sciences or related field

Experience selling to and building relationships with various customers within academic, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical organizations

Experience managing complex projects with representation from multiple stakeholder groups

Experience in managing sales or commercial personnel

Familiar with human primary cells, stem cells, life science research, drug screen, toxicity test, cell-based assay, hematology, or flow cytometry.

Superb analytical skills

Technical Skills

Proficient use of SalesForce or other CRM software

Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Ability to quickly learn new software programs as needed.

Language Skills Must have a good command of the English language and be able to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal format.

Mathematical Skills Must be able to analyze and present quantitative data. Able to accurately compute basic mathematical equations such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability The Associate Sales Director must be able to analyze and interpret data relating to various projects and resolve issues and problems that arise.

Must be able to resolve issues of a general and routine nature and exercise appropriate judgment to escalate issues to senior management.

Must be able to effectively prioritize routine and non-routine work assignments to ensure goals and timelines are met.
