ICON is looking for a Biostatistics Manager to be part of our growing team in India.

Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs. Responsible for team of statisticians providing statistical input to study design, analysis and reporting.Ensures that Biostatistics Department projects are conducted within budget and in a timely and quality manner.Prepares and approves research proposals and budgets to provide statistical consulting and to conduct statistical analyses for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, computer, and manufacturing industries. As needed, participates in proposal defense meetings and makes presentations at marketing meetings with prospective clients.

Experiences, Skills, Educational Requirements Significant proven and progressive experience pertaining to Biostatistics with prior relevant management experience. In depth proven experience should be in statistical applications in the pharmaceutical industry Experience leading projects and strong skills in organizing, planning, problem solvingMasters degree. or local equivalent, or Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics or related field.
