IQVIA’s Speaker Bureau’s mission is to support our customers by providing leading technology and services solutions to support HCP to HCP engagements in a seamless, orchestrated, compliant and intelligence led fashion. This GTM role is a critical function in ensuring effective customer engagement and adoption of IQVIA solutions. 

Summary
•    The Director of GTM Strategy and Operations is responsible for driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our GTM efforts by working with our Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Enablement and Sales Operations teams 
•    Empowers these customer-orientated functions to be more effective and coordinated through process development, training, tools and information they need to successfully generate and close opportunities.
•    In addition, the role is responsible for developing a clear view of market trends and supporting the business leaders set business, product and channel strategies 


Job Duties: 
Strategy (30%)
•    Work with business leaders to define positioning and overall strategy, providing a range of support in the process. 
•    Translate data into evidence that informs strategy development and refinement 
•    Monitor industry trends, competitor actions, the regulatory and market environment. Identify potential impacts on business - work with business leaders to develop plans to appropriately respond  
•    Develop analysis to support expansion into segment adjacencies, product adjacencies and/or new channels 

Go To Market (GTM) Operations (70%) 

•    Working with the broader sales operations and enablement teams to develop specific sales tools, metrics and forecasts to improve the sales performance of the business. These would include but not be limited to 
o    Customer segmentation, penetration and whitespace analysis 
o    Evolving competitive intelligence assets   
o    Developing appropriate go to market performance metrics - leading and lagging indicators 
o    Product and account level planning and forecasting 
o    Supporting development of sales strategies - including content development where needed 
o    Development plus implementation of programs to improve both the quality and quantity of sales activities during each stage of the customer buying process. 
•    Establishes and implements best practices, scalable processes to optimize coordination between field sales, inside sales, marketing, enablement and other functions as necessary. 
•    Support yearly GTM planning cycles and associated quarterly updates 

Travel Requirements: Yes, requires 10-20% domestic travel to meet with clients, internal stakeholders, and to attend conferences.

Other Education, Skills, Experience 
•    Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification required 
•    Pharmaceutical industry experience required 
•    Experience developing commercial strategies for life science companies including positioning, go-to market and portfolio optimization
•    Development of account plans, management of sales pipeline for commercial operations and general experience with salesforce based tools
•    Strong Excel and data analysis skills
•    Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly matrix environment and ability to lead through influence
•    Clear communicator with professional presence 
•    Strong listening skills; open to input from other team members and departments
