We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist to support our growing Biologics Testing Solutions business in APAC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Primarily responsible for supporting Business Development Manager as needed with repeat and routine business opportunities. Responsible for engaging a portion of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market not currently supported by current sales teams with the objective to maintain and/or develop new customer relationships and expand the business. In addition, supporting Business Development Manager and sites by generating and qualifying new leads resulting from trade shows and through the development of targeted marketing campaigns. Communicate features and benefits of appropriate products and services to meet customer needs. Coordinate with internal specialists to address customer questions/objections, provide pricing, and follow through to close of sale. Maintain routine business opportunities and support contract negotiations. Support field team by managing assigned leads and inquiries through the selling process and providing back up for out of office replies. Strategically target and engage new prospective customers from original inquiry through to hand off to project management. Attend conferences, sales meetings and trade shows as necessary. Provide training and support as needed for new hires in the department. Establish and nurture positive, productive relationships with customer accounts and Biologics Testing Solutions Team at all levels. Develop marketing campaigns to support individuals, product lines, or sites to generate new leads and coordinate face to face meetings. Support territory growth by uncovering leads and opportunities by region. Develop and qualify leads through customer contact and prospecting. Develop and implement tools for lead generation and management, prioritize and forward to Sales Development team to follow Gain and share competitive market information with management. Communicate with all levels of management customer needs and concerns. Maintain all communications within the internal system (Salesforce) with routine status reporting. Develop and maintain appropriate tools to track projects and sales initiatives to support management. Work collaboratively with Marketing to drive product promotions and provide feedback on ROI. Job Qualifications The following are minimum qualifications related to the Sales Support Specialist Korea

position:

  Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in life sciences, sales or related discipline. Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in life science industry. Language: Minimum fluent level for South Korean and intermediate level (writing Email) for English Must regularly operate a computer and occasionally operate other office productivity machinery.  Must regularly communicate with employees; must be able to exchange accurate information. Must be able to use Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)

You Might Also have:

  Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master technical concepts and articulate them well to others. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a multi-layered team. Must be highly adaptable and responsive to market changes and demands. Social adaptability, cultural fluency, respect for other customs and practices. Regularly, be able to access Office (Incheon, South Korea) with occasional travel (domestic and international) as needed.
