Perform senior-level financial activities necessary for the analysis of global financial results, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and the annual strategic planning for the Insourcing Solutions operating unit. Direct finance activities related to M&A and divestiture projects.  Responsible for division-wide capital expenditure programs. Essential Duties

⦁    Direct, consolidate and administer annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasting including full accounting budgetary responsibility for the operating unit.

⦁    Oversee & deliver the consolidation of regular financial reporting to the business unit senior management. Providing insights, action plans & recommendations to optimize financial performance.  Analyze, prepare and present annual budgets and strategic plans to business unit senior management.  

⦁    Communicate, collaborate and compile data from domestic and international accounting staffs, business unit staffs (direct and indirect reports), and General Managers (or other division heads or functional heads) to gather accurate data for financial forecasting & planning processes.

⦁    Perform complex analyses including pricing, return on investment, buy vs build, margin optimization, invest/divest decisions. 

⦁    Direct Finance activities related to all of the business units expansion or consolidation projects. 

⦁    Oversee training of new employees, and integration/training of finance employees related to acquisition. 

⦁    Deliver process improvements for area of responsibility.

⦁    Drive cost savings and productivity initiatives to improve units profitability.

⦁    Analyze profit and loss with the imperative of adhering to monthly reporting deadlines to management and clear and concise commentary on performance drivers, recommended actions, risks and opportunities.

⦁    Oversee capital expenditure programs and projects which includes comprehensive review of return on investment, forecasting, resolving budgetary discrepancies, and enable accurate cash flow outlooks.

⦁    Communicate effectively with staff at all levels of assigned business unit in order to understand the full function of the business and provide accurate forecast information.  Maintain confidentiality of all budgetary information.

⦁    Working with Corporate Finance and Internal Audit staff, ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley).

⦁    Develop new approaches, processes or methods to solve new business problems, act as an agent of change, continuously reevaluating process to achieve expected revenue & earnings growth. Responsibilities

⦁    Direct the activities of assigned direct reports.  Conduct performance reviews; interview and hire new personnel, training, and development.

⦁    Direct activities of assigned group(s) to ensure effective performance of function.

⦁    Interview and select qualified exempt-level departmental personnel.  Recommend, review and approve personnel actions, including hiring, promotions and raises.  Partner with Human Resources in the handling of disciplinary issues.  Prepare and/or approve appropriate personnel action paperwork.  

⦁    Ensure that management training and development needs are identified and programs initiated.  Direct the development of departmental orientation and other training programs.  

⦁    Develop short- and long-range operating objectives, organizational structure, and staffing requirements.  Oversee the development of a departmental plan for backup and succession of key departmental personnel.

⦁    Develop and recommend departmental budget.  Authorize expenditures in accordance with budget.  Approve budget and expenses of subordinates.

⦁    Ensure optimum performance of group function.  Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state-of-the-art practices.

⦁    Direct the development and communication of departmental systems, SOPs, policies and procedures.  Partner with Human Resources to develop and approve departmental job descriptions; ensure communication of duties and responsibilities to employees.

⦁    Perform all other related duties as assigned.

  Job Qualifications ⦁    Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in accounting, finance or a directly related discipline.  MBA is strongly preferred.

⦁    Experience:  Ten or more years of related experience in a finance function, with a demonstrated track record in financial planning and analysis for both revenue and spending (full P&L) and business partnering/support for an operating unit or business. 

⦁    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

⦁    Other:  Previous supervisory experience, excellent communication skills required.
