Job Summary This role assists with driving the foundational structure for the Procurement organization’s strategic goals utilizing supplier spend, market data, systems and processes. This role is responsible for analysis, reporting and metrics providing clear visibility and efficient use of financials to drive continuous improvement and procurement value.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

⦁    Support internal procurement teams as the main point of contact for all aspects of supplier related data.   

⦁    Gather, maintain, and lead data collection and analysis, reporting, dashboarding, and KPIs/metrics, including all aspects of “Procurement Value” reporting (cost savings/avoidance/free cash)

⦁    Provide Macro Economic/Market data pulls including managing related 3p subscriptions

⦁    Support procurement-related technology systems and processes

⦁    Support audit and compliance reporting

⦁    Manage compliance supplier Diversity reporting for USG and clients

⦁    Support supplier risk assessment initiatives including managing related 3p subscriptions

⦁    Manage supplier relationship management module

⦁    Work routinely with internal teams to mature operational efficiencies, build workflows between departments, educate on procurement policies and procedures, and develop process documentation

⦁    Support contract negotiations and scorecarding.  

⦁    Support category teams to ensure access all relevant internal and external data required for category strategy formulation, internal spend analysis, RFP analysis, etc.  Skills or Abilities

⦁    Strong Analytical Skills / Demonstrated expertise in:

⦁    Manipulating large datasets (Including use of PowerPivot)

⦁    Strong working knowledge of Power BI is a must

⦁    Strong working knowledge of MS Teams/SharePoint & working relationship

⦁    Sufficient knowledge of project management tools such as SmartSheet

⦁    Microsoft Excel including pivot tables

⦁    Microsoft Access 

⦁    Experience with SAP and/or Jaggaer (or similar P2P) a plus

⦁    Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and professional interpersonal skills.

⦁    Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

⦁    Outstanding change management and presentation skills;

⦁    Ability to work partly independently and in a team environment and balance multiple priorities concurrently;  

⦁    Ability to contribute creatively in a collaborative setting.   Job Qualifications

⦁    Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in a related discipline.  MBA a plus.

⦁    Experience:  5 years experience in data analytics or financial analysis or procurement (or any combination of the 3) with demonstrated proficiency in taking large amounts of data and transforming it to information;

⦁    Demonstrated proficiency in developing and managing balanced scorecards;

⦁    Project Management and change management experience is desirable;

⦁    Demonstrated experience in developing measurable KPIs;

⦁    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

⦁    Certification/Licensure:  Financial, Software or procurement a plus

⦁    Other:   Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal, analytical, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills required.  Must possess in-depth knowledge of complex pricing arrangements and supplier profitability.
