The Xpedite Solutions Architect (xSA) will lead the design of Xpedite solutions as part of an integrated environment to support Parexel in securing new business opportunities. The xSA will facilitate the aggregation of distributed knowledge and experience during the solution design process.

The xSA will work in collaboration with Xpedite team members and the Feasibility & Strategy Leader (FSL) to integrate Xpedite components into the solution offering.

This role will act as a functional lead within Xpedite and on study teams responsible for driving technology implementation and solutions for projects. The xSA will support the delivery of an optimized operational strategy based on the selection of Xpedite countries and clinical sites.

The xSA will also support proposal and study teams as an Xpedite Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Collaboration During Proposals: Supporting Xpedite projects to assure the correct integration of Xpedite componentsTake an active role in supporting the creation and presentation of an integrated strategy for strategic scenario planning for Xpedite inclusion on pre-identified opportunities or studies. Lead the design of Xpedite solution implementationsDevelop and/or support the development of enrollment scenarios aligned to the agreed Xpedite strategy utilizing specific modeling and techniques. Determine where pathways for locating sites and patients for Xpedite programs. Identify any Xpedite site specific barriers or motivators to participate in the study. Therapeutic Level Contribution: Actively contribute to relationship-building activities internally and externally, with clients, investigators, and thought leaders. Drive TA specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including reducing zero enrolling Xpedite investigators Innovate and evolve the approach within the Xpedite TAConduct and manage Xpedite TA feasibility assessment and survey including development of the questionnaire, collection and review of the data, follow up discussions with the Xpedite team and compilation of the collected information into selection analysis documentation and site identification strategyContribute to the development of enrollment modeling settings for future study scenario buildingOversee any needed early engagement internal or client projects Deliver comprehensive reporting with the outcome of the site selection process including methodology, high level results and recommendationsStudy Site Finalization:Articulate and defend the proposed Xpedite model/strategy in Parexel internal meetings and sponsor meetingsProvide site identification and selection strategy and pertinent TA feasibility and XAV outcomes to the identified study team as requiredTransfer the identified Xpedite Site list and feasibility to the identified study team for review and finalization as requiredAct as Xpedite SME for the Clinical Feasibility Lead (in the case there are more than Xpedite countries/sites utilized)Ensure prioritized selection for Xpedite sites where appropriateQualificationsSkills: Organized with excellent oral presentation and written communication skillsStrong customer focus (internal and external)Experienced in technical and operational project management, planning and budgetingAbility to manage multiple projectsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead a decentralized teamAbility to set and manage prioritiesExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong tactical skillsStrategic and long-term project planningKnowledge & ExperienceIn-depth understanding of scientific data application across the clinical research spectrum, inclusive of corresponding data access/acquisition requirements, study delivery processes, technology selections and project team resource configurations.Demonstrated ability to apply scientific data-enabling processes and technologies to support research hypotheses and/or overcome clinical research challenges inherent in any given study designAbility to form strong partnerships with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders within Parexel’s Scientific Data, Commercial and Operational organizations Previous exposure to modeling of enrolment scenarios and/or selection of country and sitesEducation: Bachelor’s degree requiredAdvanced degree preferred (Master’s degree in life sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or equivalent life skill experience)Language Skills:Fluent in written and spoken EnglishEEO DisclaimerParexel is an equal opportunity employer.  Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to legally protected status, which in the US includes race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
