Oversee the electronic security function for enterprise access control, intrusion alarms and CCTV.  Ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures for all aspects of electronic security programs Monitor electronic security systems and take necessary actions as required by established SOPs and policies.  Participate in the definition of physical security system standards, required upgrades, maintenance and day-to-day operation of security systems. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art security equipment standards and technology and recommend system solutions to management. Initiate preliminary investigations to identify and document possible breaches in security and recommend corrective actions as needed.  Provide input for the development of new security manuals, policies and procedures.  Keep managers and security employees at all locations informed regarding technical security issues, policies, procedures, trends and other relevant information. Implement the corporate electronic security program at additional sites as required. Ensure electronic security policies are communicated and enforced at connected remote sites . Authorize security decisions regarding local police, fire and hazardous facilities situations in absence of department management or assigned representative. Job Qualifications Education:   Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in law enforcement, electronics or related field. Experience:   4-6 years of security systems experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Certification/Licensure:  Driver’s license.  Certified Lenel End User Operations Administrator Other:   Must have background in electronic security systems support and understanding of centralized automated access control and remote site CCTV and intrusion alarm design functions.
