Job Summary We are seeking an Animal Caretaker II for our Insourcing Solutions site located in Hamilton, MT.

What you will do!
In the Animal Caretaker II role, you will be working in ABSL 2-4 facility environments to perform a variety of duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, routine preventative maintenance, and repair of caging materials and autoclaves as needed, as well as maintaining cagewash and animal holding facilities in a clean and organized manner. Additional duties may include monitoring, observation, and recording of research animals, as well as animal husbandry duties to maintain animal health in varied environments.
You may also be tasked with operating equipment and performing general housekeeping in accordance with all safety procedures and SOPs. Other duties may include receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply orders, as well as preparing and submitting all required written records, charts, logs, and inventories. The Animal Caretaker II position also works actively with customers to address requests, inquiries, and complaints, as well as provide technical assistance when needed. Job Qualifications Who are we looking for?
A candidate that possesses a high school diploma/GED required. Experience and/or training working with mechanical equipment preferred. Some experience working with animals preferred. Achievement of ALAT certification within one year of eligibility, and continued certification at the LAT level in an additional six months of eligibility. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted for the listed.
