Inside Sales Associate (II)

US based.

We are currently looking to strengthen and expand our global Business Development team through the recruit of an Inside Sales Associate (II) within our global infrastructure. This opportunity will be based in US (North Wales, PA or Raleigh, NC preferred).

Overview of the Role

As an Inside Sales Associate (II) you will assist in securing business for ICON, through proactive sales activities. You will methodically pursue relationships and interactions with identified influencer and decision maker within targeted clinical sponsor environments. You will be communicating and positioning ICON as a primary and/or preferred CRO partner for all Drug Development work.

You will gain exposure throughout ICONs global infrastructure, working with colleagues in Marketing; Proposals; and Business Development.

You will continuously build your knowledge and experience throughout the sales cycle - lead generation; RFI / RFP activity; bid submission; bid defense.

Role Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity you should have:The ability to establish and manage strong customer relationships in multiple time zonesData Analytics - capable of pulling data from various sources (primarily Excel and Salesforce)Excellent communication skills and awareness - with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities to drive revenue generation opportunitiesThe ability to identify; manage and pursue sales leads directly - then to work with Business Development colleagues in presenting sales opportunities and handover/handoff.
