In order to realize our vision, we are looking for a Sales Associate DirectorMed Tech to strengthen our Sales team in Milan.

Job Overview

As the local focal point, the Sales Associate Director will be directly responsible for the management of an assigned client portfolio ranging from pure Consumer Health local affiliates and SME Italian players.

Main Accountabilities

Business Development

  • The Sales Associate Director will grow revenue and profit by leveraging the full IQVIA offerings, identifying new business opportunities in the Consumer Health industry and developing and executing account plans for his/her assigned client portfolio.
  • Develops strategy for deepening the knowledge of the clients’ stakeholder maps, expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business as well as potential win backs opportunities.
  • Provides the key client relationship by building and leveraging on strong relationships both internally (Consulting, Analytics, PMR, Marketing, Client Service) and externally with executives and key decision makers in the client organizations.
  • As required, may lead negotiations in renewing contracts within assigned accounts and takes proactive role in contract strategy.
  • Act a key role towards BU/Regional stakeholders and Global Community for Consumer Health businesses.
  • Help raise the profile of IQVIA within the sector, for example by speaking at public events, conferences and analyst days demonstrating domain thought leadership and insight.


People Management

  • The Sales Associate Director is also leading a team of KAMs operating within the CH/SME industry and SME segment, and is responsible to achieve or exceed the financial targets for assigned to this portfolio.
  • Will be responsible for coaching the assigned team of KAMs by providing leadership and guidance and coordinating the involvement of all available IQVIA resources (marketing, sales specialist, consulting and client service) in actively promoting the full IQVIA portfolio of products and services, to anticipate and meet client needs.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Sales, Marketing or Trade Marketing experience in Consumer Health industry
  • Previous experience in a Consulting firm is considered a plus
  • Required a previous successful experience in direct people management
  • Attitude to deal with C-level stakeholders
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting/forecasting and sales opportunity management
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience within an international environment/multinational company
  • Excellent business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
  • Italian native speaker, fluent English
