Senior Director, EDC and Client Services, Parexel Informatics

The Senior Director of Client Services (EDC) will be responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of EDC organization. Managing client relationships, supervising the operational teams and proactively engaging with the extended PI organization to define and implement the EDC strategy together with efficiently deliver high-quality products and services.QualificationsExperience/EducationDemonstrate leadership support for all cross-functional initiatives and organizational development activities, modelling expected behaviors to managers and staff to create a desired workplace culture Provide strategic and intellectual leadership to the group, to grow and build the capability by seeking continuous improvementExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsLead high performing teams through coaching and mentoring, to build and grow operational capabilityAbility to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detailSound knowledge of the EDC business, delivery and customer management processes. Extensive knowledge of the biopharm drug development processes specifically relating to clinical trial execution and application of technology to support study workflowExperience within a ‘service organization’ providing services into clinical trial organizations as well as biopharma companies.Adequate experience in an environment that has involved either the use or the delivery of EDC functionality or other appropriate clinical technology in the context of running clinical trials.Ability to establish solid relationships with business unit leadership and other senior executives.Prior role(s) that has required extensive collaboration internationally both with customers as well as internal functional areas.Experience in leading and managing high performing teams.
