Job Description Summary

To perform statistical analysis planning, lead statistical analysis, lead statistical reporting, act as overall statistical lead on low complexity studies, and support business development within ICO Biostatistics and Medical Writing (BMW)

Role Responsibilities:Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international.Attends weekly BMW meetingsAssists Directors and members of Executive Team with BMW initiativesEnsures with oversight the financial health of BMW through budgeting and scope development Participates in general marketing conferences or industry meetingsParticipates in professional activities including presentation at technical conferencesRepresents BMW in proposal development of full-service bidsRepresents BMW in proposal development for statistics-only projectsProficient with the SAS Data step with simple conditional statements and variable creationProficient with performing simple merges and concatenationProficient with complex conditional statements in SAS Data stepProficient with performing complex merges (including one-to-many merges)Contributes to project conception and designProficient with the SAS Output Delivery System to control output from statistical proceduresProficient with performing analyses using basic statistical procedures

Proficient in at least one advanced SAS statistical procedure or technique (e.g., repeated measures, survival analysis, SAS/Graph, advanced macros, etc.)Proficient in at least one substantive area (e.g. statistics, epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, patient- reported outcomes, etc.

Qualifications: Doctorate degree or equivalent OR Master's degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experiencePossess excellent written and oral communication skillsExperienced with macros and arrays for repetitive tasksExperienced with descriptive statistics procedures for summarizing, restructuring, and outputting dataStrong conceptual quantitative and qualitative analytical skillsStrong client management skills
