IT Director - Enterprise Systems

Manage and direct all aspects of IT delivery for Enterprise Systems within the Lead-to-Order functional area including oversight for one or more products utilizes for Lead Generation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), or Order Management (OM).

As a product manager, work closely with global and business process owners for demand management and prioritization as well as peers and leaders across Enterprise Systems and Processes (ES&P) to deliver solutions aligned with IQVIA's Lead-to-Cash vision and strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with business leaders, 3rd party vendors, and suppliers to develop and manage long-term strategic roadmap for Lead to Order

• Ability to effectively negotiate across various business stakeholders to establish product priorities and release schedule, including common enterprise-level product features as well as business unit specific tailored features

• Seek approval for prioritized enhancement requests and communicate to business stakeholders, and be the gatekeeper for accepting completion of development work

• Create supporting business cases, including financial impact and benefits statements, to support feature / functionality concepts and sell the concepts to internal audiences through persuasive presentations

• Track defined metrics to measure success of program features, analyze results, and partner across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations

• Support and improve all required Salesforce integration, automation and data synchronization

• Stay current with emerging Salesforce.com, Conga.com, and related application development technologies and solutions

• Represent IQVIA as part of user groups and benchmark with other users

• Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable legislation. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters, including salary administration

• Effectively manage team resources and delegate tasks commensurate with skill level. Evaluate workload and quality through regular review and program manage IT development and support team, including business analysts, developers, architects, and testers to deliver releases to platforms using an Agile method

• Contribute to discussions on implementation of IT strategy on a regional basis and implement objectives, as appropriate.  Ensure staffs have a consistent understanding and positive impression of business strategy for regional and global objectives. Lead strategic initiatives and develop implementation plans

• Full financial responsibility and accountability for team(s); responsible for monitoring growth and performance

• Provide technical leadership and management of IT projects from conception through deployment. Establish project budgets, resource plans, milestones, tracking metrics, and success measures

• Ensure adherence to IT standards and procedures, and that all work meets computer systems validation requirements, and any issues identified in QA or customer audits are properly addressed

• Develop and test the IT disaster recovery plan in conjunction with the business continuity plan. Provide consulting assistance to site management in the development of the business continuity plan

• Ensure all IT activities conform to IT security standards and all data and systems are properly protected. Ensure proactive monitoring exists to detect intrusions, violations, or other unauthorized

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; with 10 years IT experience including previous management experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

•  Strong leadership and people skills, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers, managers and clients

• Relevant technical, functional and/or process expertise

• Excellent project management and organization skills

• Input into or management of project and team budgets

• Excellent computer literacy, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision, and judgment to know when to escalate and ask for guidance

• As a leader of respective function, participate in and contribute to the wider Leadership team(s) agenda within IT

• Preferred skills include one or more of the following:  Salesforce and/or Conga/Apttus CRM, CLM, CPQ, Order Management as well as Contract Management, Proposal Generation, Electronic Signature, Legal Systems, or IT Pricing
