Under minimum supervision, the Principal FinancialAnalyst coordinates tasks and provides supports in various financial analysisprojects. Serves as point of contact for external and internal auditors andprovides support/documents as needed. Manages accounting for corporateleasing/facilities and daily activities of Financial Analyst responsible for ITaccounting. Provides help and training to less-experienced financial analysts.Works with the Director of Finance when necessary to resolve complex problemsand ensure quality and accuracy of data. Responsibilities include:

Performs complex financial analysis and providessupport to internal and external auditsPerforms accounting/finance audits, tests, andreconciliations; verifies accounting entries for appropriate treatment;investigates discovered issues and ensures corrective actions are put in place.Performs various analyses.

Recommends opportunity for improvement based onfindings. Handles issues related SEC filings. Serves as point of contact forexternal audit vendors.Manages accounting for lease activity, including butnot limited to: updates, reviews and processes the monthly rentschedule and deferred rent schedules to ensure proper payment of rentobligations and/or GAAP compliance. Performs FAS13 analysis for new or amendedleases and other various analyses to ensure compliance and accuracy. Providesreports on as needed basis to upper management and financial reporting. Reviewsand adjusts prepaid rent and CAM balances, deferred rent and sublease balancesto avoid account balance misstatements. Updates the operating lease disclosureschedule for financial reporting.Oversees day to day activities of financial analystsresponsible for IT accounting and provides assistance as needed.Ensures documentation requested by the Company’sinternal audit department is provided on time. Coordinates tasks as needed.

Minimum Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent (Master’sdegree preferred) 8 years of experience in financial analysis,auditing, or accounting or equivalent combination of education, training andexperience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills andabilities CPA preferred CRO knowledge or experience preferred Public accounting audit experience preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principlesand their application Knowledge of Lawson Software Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills; ability to communicatewith various levels with PPD and outside the Company Ability to work with high level of delegation andindependence (taking initiatives, self-starter, etc).
