Senior Project Analyst, IT PMO

As a Senior Project Analyst (PPM & Reporting), you will be responsible for providing support and services related to our PPM (Project Portfolio Management) system and other Project Management Information Systems (PMIS). This will include populating the PPM system with projects and related data, analyzing our overall project portfolio, creating standard and ad-hoc reports, and supporting all Project Managers and Product Managers with their PPM and portfolio reporting needs. In this role, you will provide critical functions including portfolio and budget planning support, executive management reporting and analysis, and process improvements around our PPM and toolsets.

Key Accountabilities:

PPM Systems SME & SupportAct as the subject matter expert for PlanView, supporting IT and IT’s key stakeholdersRegularly review PlanView for accuracy and completeness of dataCreate, modify, or enhance the reports and views within PlanView to help deliver more relevant informationAct as the SME for IT for the implementation of a new PPM system (Planisware), helping to develop user requirements, reports, and act as a testerMS PowerBI – create and enhance Project Portfolio reports in MS PowerBI, and work to expand the reporting offering (e.g. Portfolio Schedule Overview & Gantt Charts).Resource Management – support Corporate IT, from a tooling perspective, as we look to improve our Resource Management processes and reportingWork with IT Product Management to establish and set up new projects (in our PM system) to management our Project Pipeline (backlog)Incrementally test the health and functionality of the PM systems (for process improvement and internal controls)Support Program and Project Managers as requested (e.g. training, system administration)Portfolio Management SupportAssist in the Fiscal Year budgeting cycles, including creating templates for collecting, consolidating and analyzing data, updating the PPM system to match our plans, and validating accuracy and completeness of the FY budgets in our systemsMaintain the FY Budget Change Log, showing the original baselined budget amounts and all the “transactions” that were agreedCreate a “FY Target Report” that shows by Tower their OPEX and CAPEX targets, as compared to their Total Forecast (Actuals + ETC)Create ad-hoc reports in and out of system, to support portfolio planning and analysisMonthly Portfolio Review – support the monthly Project Portfolio Review by pulling data from various systems, creating management reports and slides, and providing analytical insightsSub-Portfolio Reviews – support the IT Project Portfolio Directors during their Bi-Weekly sub-portfolio reviews with the IT Tower Leads, ensuring that they have the reports and data needed to conduct a productive reviewCorporate PMO – support the new Corporate PMO with their data and reporting needs.
