We are seeking aClinical Laboratory Assistant for ourClinical Pathology Teamlocated inMattawan, MI.

TheClinical Laboratory Assistantwithin the clinical pathology laboratory is responsible formanaging sample containers, data, and communications for accurate and timely tracking anddisposition of samples and data; or, for processing blood samples for multiple species ofanimals. Individuals in this role use effective communication and interpersonal skills in acollaborative team environment.

The following are minimum qualifications related to theClinical Laboratory Assistantposition:

HS/GED or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with no relevant experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to achieve goals. Ability to work and communicate effectively with colleagues of differing backgrounds andexperience levels. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions, including the ability to learn avalidated system. Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited toevenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts; sometimes on short notice. Ability to work under specific time constraints.
