The primary role the SDO Business Process Director is to understand Parexel business partner (aligned internal departments) and SDO objectives and requirements in order to lead a multidisciplinary project team in the development and implementation delivery of rapid, reliable and repeatable solutions and services to SDO internal customers SDO. The SDO Business Process Director will partner with Scientific Leads, SDO internal clients, SDO data asset management and technologists, Parexel and Therapeutic Area and Medical experts, Biostatisticians, Epidemiologists, and Medical Informaticists to support and maintain repeatable, reliable and rapid solutions that leverage and facilitate the use of scientific data, with corresponding technology selections required to deliver in best in class external and internal solutions.

General areas of responsibility Oversight and management of business partner engagement in the development of rapid, repeatable and reliable scientific data solutions, focused on data and quality standards, and applicable regulations where necessary.Key facilitator for the development and delivery of quality driven solutions within SDO and in support of internal business partner goals & objectivesPartners with internal business partners, data asset management and technology, medical, statistics on solution design and operational models required for intended use of dataQualificationsSkills:Organized with excellent oral presentation and written communication skillsStrong customer focus (internal and external)Experienced in technical and operational project management, planning and budgetingAbility to manage multiple projectsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead a decentralized teamAbility to set and manage prioritiesExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong tactical skillsStrategic and long-term project planningSenior: advanced ability to work independentlyKnowledge and Experience:Demonstrable experience of RWD / late-phase / RWE-oriented clinical research experience and / or technology in both interventional and observational study contexts, with at least 8-10 years of global project management experience in roles of increasing seniority/accountability or equivalentUnderstanding of scientific data application across the clinical research spectrum inclusive of corresponding data access/acquisition requirements, study delivery processes, technology selections and project team resource configurationsProven ability to efficiently and effectively assess a Business Partner’s and clients generation needs and assemble a multi-disciplinary team capable of creating leading and innovative research solutions which leverage scientific data in the service of Sponsor requirementsAbility to form strong partnerships with a broad range of cross-SBU stakeholders within Parexel’s Scientific Data, Commercial and Operational (functional) organizations Highly effective in eliciting BP/client confidence and trust in Parexel solutions and servicesExperienced in budgeting and cost evaluation of scientific and development of data processes and technologiesWorking knowledge of scientific data and technology environments, including relevant data sources (EMR, claims, registries, health care data bases, etc.), data applications (mhealth, sensors/wearables, specialty labs, genomics, etc.), data flows, data repositories, data security, and associated patient privacy/consent provisionsFamiliarity with data and privacy regulation and policy around the world which impacts the utilization of real-world data across the clinical research spectrumSenior: Minimum of 10 years’ experience developing and delivering operational models in clinical researchEducation:Bachelors’ degree requiredAdvanced degree preferred (Masters’ degree in life sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health or equivalent)Employment is contingent on disclosure of your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if relevant, proof of vaccination.
