Central Services Specialist - Vendor Specialist

Under the guidance of Global Clinical Study Support (“CSS”) management, this position will be responsible for the prerequisite approval process, negotiation, execution and financial reconciliations related to contracts with parties external to Incyte Corporation (individual consultants and 3rd party vendors). Responsibilities include supporting CSS Central Services team as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receipt, negotiation and execution of the following types of agreements with external Healthcare Practitioner (HCP) and non-HCP consultants: Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs) and Consulting Agreements (CAs)
  • Prerequisite/Approval Process for all HCP/n-HCP engagements: Fair Market Value (FMV) evaluations and Needs Assessment process; to include experience working with enterprise functions Compliance and Legal for approval of Fee-for-Service interactions
  • Receipt, negotiation and execution of the following types of Vendor agreements: Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work/Work Orders (SOWs/WOs)
  • Prerequisite/Approval Process for all Vendor engagements: Privacy Assessments and Cybersecurity Assessments
  • Financial Reconciliation of all dollar-amount agreements across both individual consultants and Vendor entities, to include supplier intake management, purchase requisition and purchase order management in ERP systems, (specifically SAP Ariba application); to include experience working with partner functions Procurement and Finance/Accounting
  • Reviews and validates quality and accuracy of contracts and other documents
  • Assist in the reporting of Key Performance Indicators and Central Services metrics
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintains consistent communications with internal clients, including in-person discussion, telephone calls, and email

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, science or related fields
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Biopharmaceutical/CRO industry
  • Knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management principles, experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiation and conflict resolution, as well as proven ability to effectively manage change
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook/Calendaring, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
