Central Services Specialist - Insurance/Sponsor Statements

Under the guidance of Incyte’s Global Clinical Study Support (“CSS”) management, the Central Services Specialist - Insurance position will be responsible for preparation, coordination and study implementation of documents required for Global Clinical Studies (i.e. contracts, sponsor statements and insurance). Responsibilities include supporting CSS Central Services team as needed.

Summary of the Essential Functions of the Job:

• Reviews and validates quality and accuracy of contracts and other documents.
• Responsible for facilitating contract execution (via DocuSign or wet signature) and maintaining the Signature Authority Guidance.
• Responsible for facilitating all required notarizations and apostilles.
• Responsible for ordering and tracking courier services.
• Manage key vendor purchase orders and submit vendor invoices as necessary to Incyte finance.
• Responsible for opening, managing and quality checks of tracker and perform system maintenance as needed.
• Assist in the reporting of Key Performance Indicators and Central Services metrics.
• Assists in the procurement of clinical trial insurance.
• Maintains consistent communications with internal clients, including in-person discussion, telephone calls, and email.

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical/CRO industry.
• Experience with conflict resolution.
• Proven ability to effectively manage change.
• Ability to negotiate complex contract and payment terms.
• Flexibility to assume a workload which frequently necessitates an adjustment of priorities.
• Goal oriented, self-starter with proven ability to work independently.
• Proactively identify issues and provide potential solutions for resolution.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deliverables in accordance with stated timelines.
• Proficiency with all applications of Microsoft Office.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity; ability to act without having the total picture.
