Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Manager, Laboratory Sciences for our Safety Assessment site located in Reno, NV.

This position will be responsible for managing the technical staff in assigned laboratory areas and management of all personnel related issues. This position will also oversee technical and operational performance of the laboratory sciences functional areas (e.g. analytical chemistry, immunochemistry, immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular technology).

The following are minimum requirements related to the Manager, Laboratory Sciences position. Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in biology, animal science or related field. 5 years experience in an applicable laboratory environment. 3 years supervisory/management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Proficiency in the use of standard software including Microsoft® Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. and with standard laboratory calculations.
