Responsibilities
Support the VP, OpEx, EMEA in definifing the overall OpEx agenda to deliver business and financial objectives
Create EMEA OpEx community and establish a regular cadence to share OpEx thought leadership, methodologies and best practices with the aim of raising OpEx capabilities
With the VP, OpEx, EMEA, partner and engage with stakeholders (ie business leaders) to ensure goals are aligned to EMEA OpEx strategy and that projects are promoted, prioritized and planned accordingly
Collaborate with the global OpEx team as required to ensure awareness of best practice and alignment
Map all existing OpEx opportunities and owners
Partner with business leader and project sponsors to define OpEx opportunity project plan, resources needed and methodology
Identify synergy opportunities between projects
Single Point of contact for OpEx project owners throughout project implementation
Tracks project status, completion and results through standard reporting to OpEx leader and business leaders
Undertakes end of project reviews with a view to future process improvements
Engage with Procurement on vendor engagement and contract controls
Collection and aggregation of reports and metrics
Requirements
Master’s Degree preferably in Management Engineering
Minimum 7+ years of project management or process improvement experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
Consulting background will be considered a plus
Extensive experience in leading change initiatives and facilitating kaizen or other Lean events
Experience in leading project teams with no reporting lines
Ability to challenge situations and overcome setbacks
Ability to interact with upper-level stakeholders
