Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Associate Scientist 2, Ligand Binding for our Discovery site located in Worcester, MA.

The successful candidate should have at least one year experience with ligand binding / immunoassays in conventional ELISA, MSD, and/or Gyros platforms. This position will be involved in multiple aspects of bioanalysis in multiple matrices, with a focus on large molecules, collaborating between our bioanalytical and oncology groups. The position is hands-on, and the work is performed in close cooperation with and under the guidance of more senior staff members in a fast-paced environment where a commitment to teamwork, quality data and speed is essential.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Associate Scientist 2, Ligand Bindingposition.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A) or equivalent in a scientific related discipline.

Experience: Minimum two years related laboratory experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or contract laboratory environment.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

More experienced candidates would also be considered at a higher level.

Certification/Licensure: None.

Other: Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated ability to understand and follow relevant regulatory requirements, guidance documents, protocols, and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines under minimal direction. Proficiency in the use of standard software including Microsoft® Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc. and with standard laboratory calculations. Proficiency in the use of analytical instrumentation software.
