PURPOSE

Utilize strong business, account and project management expertise to coordinate activities with clients and internal team to maximize business relationships while ensuring the highest level of service.  Recommends and carries out strategies designed to ensure business partnerships and sales goals are formed and maintained and  client needs met.  Organizes resources across broad platform of internal and external areas to engage and satisfy client goals.  Liaison with staff responsible for service and sales delivery of specific IQVIA services as well as providing a single resource to coordinate broad range of services and project management across internal and external contacts.  Knowledgeable of industry and alliance organizations to ensure that IQVIA is at the leading edge in service delivery. Leadership of sales initiatives and management of an senior sales and FSP teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and directs the implementation of the customer account plans for designated markets and clients
  • Recommends and carries out strategic programs to effectively manage IQVIA’s unique deal arrangements with clients.
  • Provides input and implements department’s short and long-term strategic plans driving sales management
  • Recommends and develops programs to fully utilize organization resources.
  • Assist in the development of programs and initiative to maximize the organization’s growth and profitability.
  • Organizes resources across broad platform of internal and external participants.
  • Acts as an advocate for sales management practices both within IQVIA and to our clients  Works to build sales partnership skills throughout the enterprise Identifies, promotes and develops innovation with IQVIA’s clients
  • Recommends programs to identify organization objectives and long-range plans to achieve growth and financial profitability through effective integration of internal and external resources.
  • Participates in and creates alliances across IQVIA and line of business to ensure full range of services are effectively provided.
  • Serves as common point of contact for client and company resources..
  • Ensures that team offers broad range of IQVIA services for clients.
  • Acts as point of contact for all IQVIA lines of business,  working across the organization to provide seamless implementation of our contracts and enhance our client relationships.
  • Provide leadership, direction and serve as a resource for staff members, including performance management, career progression, and professional development.
  • Ensures that the staff members are sufficiently trained to meet their job objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or scientific discipline and 10 years' relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical) ideally including 5  years of management responsibility; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
  • Frequent travel including overseas engagements
  • Frequent long, varied hours
