BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Provides project related support to the Project Management and Project Coordination staff from the proposal development through final deliverable

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as a central contact within Project Coordination and responsible for supporting projects both administratively and technically, as appropriate.
  • Reviews and reconciles project training matrices with personnel training records.
  • Cleans and files project emails in project Trial Master File.
  • Manages and processes system access requests for internal and external project team members.
  • Liaises with Project Coordinators and project team, as needed, to manage meeting logistics.    
  • Prints, ships, and tracks clinical trial materials (e.g., study binders)
  • Processes project purchase orders.
  • Provides support during project archival phase.
  • Provides other administrative support to senior management, as assigned. 
  • Performs other duties, as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Adequate knowledge of the clinical research process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skill
  • Experience in a team/matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to form strong functional relationships, maintain a positive attitude, and ability to interact with all levels of staff to coordinate and execute study activities
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities within multiple clinical trials
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

CRITICAL JOB FUNCTIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ADA CRITERIA:

  • Very limited physical effort required to perform normal job duties

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:

  • AA/BA/BS degree preferred and/or
  • Minimum of one (1) years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and work in a matrix team environment required
  • Computer literacy required
