In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary We are seeking a Financial Analyst for the Revenue Center of Excellence.

 

The Financial Analyst is responsible for compiling and analyzing revenue recognition entries and perform revenue accounting. They are also responsible for executive revenue recognition processes and aid continuous improvement efforts. The following are additional responsibilities related to the Financial Analyst position: Support monthly and quarterly close processes for certain business units (e.g. revenue, cost of sales, deferred revenue, unbilled A/R and allowances for returns, rebates and discounts). Review unbilled revenue reports and generate accruals as needed. Prepare related journal entries for necessary adjustments. Gather and consolidate monthly revenue data and aid in preparation of internal reporting. Assist in the preparation of various revenue analyses as needed. Assist in supporting SOX revenue controls and requirements. Assist senior team members in reviewing contracts to identify accounting issues and to monitor compliance with the Company's revenue recognition policies. Assist in ensuring compliance with FASB revenue recognition standards. Perform all other related duties and or special projects as assigned.

 

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Financial Analyst position: Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Finance/Accounting. Experience: Three years or more experience working in accounting/analyst positions. Public accounting experience a plus. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Other:. Familiarity with U.S. GAAP, especially in the areas of revenue recognition. Experience with multinational operations preferred. Excellent communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills required. Hands on experience with enterprise level financial software system, ideally SAP. Strong computer skills, including advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively and independently.
