The Associate Manager, Philanthropy and Community Affairs at PPD will administer the global philanthropy and community affairs program, developing engaging and educational messaging for the programs, and supporting the PPD Corporate Foundation.

Job Description:
Philanthropy and Community Affairs:Coordinate all stages of PPD grant process including application administration
Complete due diligence on global nonprofit organizations in Blackbaud
Process donation payments, seeking out bank routing information for wire transfers, using different systems, and adjusting for different currencies for global grant recipients
Manage grant agreements and required documentation regarding donations
Identify and implement systematic enhancements to improve efficiency of grantmaking operations, including effective utilization of the grant software systems, vendors, partnersManage global community affairs committees:
Maintain key relationships with employee-volunteer committee leads to ensure an empowered and sustainable committee leads
Administer all stages of employee survey, including survey customization, messaging to employees, analysis and reporting of results.
Guide committees to use the data to strategically guide grant recipients at all committee locations
Coordinate a high volume of engaging employee volunteer events, tracking employee participation and communicating impact
Write and manage distribution of timely location specific communications on philanthropy and community affairs activitiesSupport PPD Corporate Foundation:
Serve as Assistant Secretary, take, distribute, and save meeting minutes
Coordinate all stages of foundation grant process including application administration, vetting, processing payment, and communication with nonprofit
Track foundation budget, paying special attention to committee budget allocations
Coordinate disaster relief grants committee, receiving applications and redacting confidential information, sharing them with the grants committee, communicating with applicant if additional information is needed, and processing payment.
Develop and maintain PPD Corporate Foundation branding materials, to include letterhead, email templates, website imagery
Coordinate logistics for US- wide employee giving campaign
Develop content and maintain foundation website presenceCommunications:
Work with internal communications team to ensure company wide understanding and engagement of philanthropy and community affairs programs
Ensure all communications are engaging and relate back to PPD’s purpose, defining principles, or growth drivers
Manage photo repository of philanthropy events for use with internal and external communications. This includes seeking out and managing release forms for external use.
Develop content for blog articles and social media stories about philanthropy programs
Write and maintain department inFRONT pages providing tools, best practices, and recent success storiesAnalytics and Reporting:
Utilize various analytics tools to measure and track philanthropy and community affairs initiatives, evaluate results, suggest and implement improvements and report on activities
Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel to report on results and provide insights and recommendations*LI-NA1
