The Financial Analyst FP&A, EMEA
On the position you will be supporting the Associate Director FP&A, EMEA and EMEA Finance & Commercial Operations Function in all areas of management information, ranging from standard tasks to assisting in ad-hoc requests and serving as a key contact point with the supported service leads / cluster finance leads.
Responsibilities:
Understand the data structure of IQVIA in order to maintain reporting accuracy and to be able to translate business requests into reports that support management insights and decisions
Serves as key contact point with EMEA leadership, reviews monthly results, forecasts/ budgets. Provides insight and highlights areas of risk and/or opportunity in the EMEA RBU. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis.
Maintains detailed understanding of internal customer requirements and develop processes that will meet or exceed these requirements.
Be familiar with, and ensure compliance with, internal financial accounting procedures and policies.
Ensures all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete in preparation for independent audits.
Prepare and perform comprehensive quality checks on every report as standard; troubleshoot issues and find solutions as required; propose process improvements to minimize occurrence of issues
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting, preference is for a qualified Chartered Accountant
Part-qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent preferred
Technical accounting skills
Good analytical and numeracy skills
Knowledge of both US and International accounting standards, internal controls best practice and SOX compliance.
Knowledge of financial systems, including ERP applications and reporting suites such as Hyperion.
Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
