Commercial Compliance Global Migration Owner & Subject Matter Expert

Job Overview:

  • Works directly with IQVIA stakeholders and/or clients to provide value added input on their strategic issues.
  • Identifies new business development opportunities, and manages commitments for services delivery, managed service, or implementation oriented client projects.
  • Ensures high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Works within an area of expertise, region or with specifically identified clients, for an assigned delivery or technology portfolio.
  • Meets or exceeds assigned revenue/EBITDA targets.

The Commercial Compliance Global Migration Owner and Subject Matter Expert will:

  • Be accountable for the overall global strategy, operations, and execution of the Commercial Compliance Migration effort, supported by the Global Compliance Product team and Global Compliance Delivery teams 
  • Inclusive of, but not limited to, reporting and owning metrics against targets, prioritization with stakeholders, and financial and budget tracking 
  • Scope includes full suite of Compliance offerings including Transparency, HCP Engagement and Grants/External Funding 
  • Conduct and lead client demos, providing context and solutioning to customers on their business processes and use cases mapping to the new Compliance products 
  • Participate in client facing discussions, both pre-sales and during project execution to support account owners  
  • Serve as an escalation point for Compliance migration projects from client or RBU/Country stakeholders 
  • Build relationships with additional teams contributing to the migration of Commercial Compliance products, including Delivery, Product, Account Management/PMO, RBU stakeholders, and offshore technical delivery centers  
  • Liaise with the Commercial Compliance Global Product team, to understand and contribute to the product roadmap plans, as it relates to migration requirements or dependencies 
  • Liaise with the Commercial Compliance Global Delivery team, to indirectly oversee the execution/delivery of client migrations 
  • Drive effective partnership with internal Regional and Global stakeholders to report status, escalate roadblocks and align on strategy moving forward for successful client migrations 
  • Participate in the business development process and contribute to the revenue growth by supporting Compliance sales efforts for the US region 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and/or provide industry expertise and best practices through client-facing discussions and workshops 
  • Provide insights and thought leadership to the Compliance and US organization 

Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years' experience managing Client Engagements and/or Product or Business Development, with 5+ of those years in a leadership position 
  • Experience leading in a multi-faceted, global enterprise (Pharmaceutical/ Management Consulting/ Enterprise Software sectors preferred) 
  • Experience with Commercial Compliance Technology preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate/partner with and/or develop a team of geographically dispersed direct reports 
  • Demonstrated success building effective relationships with a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and associates across different functions 
  • Proactive leader who embraces accountability for team and organization success 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to match stakeholder expectations to urgently deliver exceptional results 
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and to advocate for team 
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS business model and end-to-end delivery model, with specific expertise in Implementation 
  • Robust experience delivering SaaS and complex IT solutions  
  • Outstanding communications, problem solving and project management skills 
  • Knowledge of Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry a plus 
  • Experience in global roles; understanding of cultural sensitivities and time zones required. Fluency in English required 
  • Flexible, periodic travel for internal and client meetings 

Essential Functions:

  • Directly responsible for generating new revenue opportunities and for account planning and strategy.
  • Meets or exceeds assigned revenue targets.
  • Maintains in-depth and extremely current knowledge of client/business strategies, business issues and relationships.
  • Remains up to date with current trends in technology services and provides direction to anticipate and identify business challenges and issues.
  • Contributes to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA.
  • Has responsibility for managing a distributed team covering Business Analysis, Technical Delivery and Project Management.
  • Has responsibility for P&L management and people/talent development to meet business growth and changing priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree  Req
  • In depth and long standing relationships with IQVIA commercial stakeholders, client companies or technology providers/partners, especially at a senior level.
  • Deep expertise in one practice area, yet has demonstrated capabilities across multiple practice areas.
  • Experience leading cross functional and geographically spread teams in delivering commercial technology services projects of significant size and scope.
  • Proven business development skills.
  • Has broad knowledge of the industry.
  • In-depth understanding of IQVIA data assets, master data management, and IQVIA core offerings.
  • Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline.
  • Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques, related to functional area.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace and professional/trade associations key people and companies.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning and change management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Values people’s opinions and encourages knowledge sharing.
  • High level of energy, drive and enthusiasm.
  • Able to manage complex relationships and juggle priorities.
