Medical Writing Trainee

Medical Writing Training Program - Fantastic opportunity to join our Medical Writing team on a 6 month basis.

The program will be a hybrid of of classroom training & project work. Under departmental supervision and training, the Trainee Medical Writer will participate in the Medical Writing Services and contribute to the preparation of assigned clinical documents, where required.

The Trainee Medical Writer must be conscientious, able to work well under close scrutiny and implement feedback and have an aptitude for working with different software programs.

You gain valuable skills, processes and techniques of regulatory medical writing:Learn how to author basic documents, perform edits and format changes on documents. Learn how to prepare documents for review and address review comments.Learn project management skills, such as initiation, filing, meeting management, timeline maintenance and document finalizationUnder supervision (mentorship and guidance) produce and distribute draft and final versions of basic documents (such as narratives) to the internal medical writing teamAssist with final quality control checks, compilation, formatting, tabulation, and pagination of documentsQualificationsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and training.Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.Willingness to work in a matrix management environment and to value the importance of teamwork. Fluent in written and spoken English.Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences/Health Related Sciences or equivalent.
