Job Summary We are seeking a Project Manager for our Insourcing Solutions and CRADL operations in Cambridge, MA. This is amazing opportunity to join a dedicated team of individuals!

 

The Project Manager will be responsible for providing business coordination and facilitation in the management of Insourcing Solutions (IS) and Charles River Accelerator and Development Labs (CRADL) with a focus on geographic expansion projects. Ensuring a smooth and timely business process flow in collaboration with senior management, real estate, finance, and operational teams. Partner with senior management to develop, implement, and achieve short- and long-term goals. Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies and maintain quality standards.

 

Essential Duties: Track activities against project milestones and deadlines and perform appropriate follow up Produce geographic expansion portfolio reports and status updates Manage and run team meetings for new prospects, producing agendas, actions, and meeting minutes Create methods of tracking all real estate and market opportunities, prioritizing based on business feedback Create assessment tools based on strategy criteria for new markets Create Gnatt charts or smart sheets to track new facility construction and operational progress, as well as, process maps, score cards, and decision tree matrix Assist senior management and operations in new construction development  including, capital equipment assessment and ordering, weekly OAC meetings, and confirmation of delivery on equipment. Write and assists in the development and implementation of CRADL Business Operating Processes (BOPs). Create methods to store market intelligence information Support data collection for business justifications and assist in producing slides for the business cases Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables Assist with the creation of pricing and services menus for new locations Partner with Operations lead to review and update geographical expansion projects . Lead troubleshooting efforts across departments within Charles River for issue resolution. Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in life science, laboratory animal science, business administration, project management or related field Experience:  Three (3) or more years' experience in a scientific or project management role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or contract laboratory setting. Certification/Licensure: Project Management Professional (PMP(R)) or equivalent preferred. AALAS certification preferred. An equivalent combination of education, experience, and certification may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
