Senior Analyst, SAS Grid Administrator

Parexel is seeking a senior-level SAS Administrator to work remotely with the Clinical Application Management team. This individual will have experience in administration and tuning for SAS Grid Manager/SAS Platform Expertise in setup of queues, prioritization, manage jobs and thresholds.

Qualifications:6-10 years of SAS administrationExperience with troubleshooting and configuration of SAS Grid environment/components. This includes SAS IML, ETS, QC, Enterprise Miner, SAS ACCESS for Oracle, SQL Server, PC Files, and SAS Grid functionality - load balancing, resource management, setup of queues, prioritization, manage jobs and thresholdsMonitoring and troubleshooting SAS servicesInstalling and configuring SAS software, implementing hotfixes software patches and licenses - server and desktop based componentsTroubleshooting SAS environmentsSAS Metadata Management - user management, defining libraries, setting permissions and access controls, creating metadata folder structuresBackup and restore strategiesSecurity and Authentication (related to the access of source data within SAS on the SAS servers across the different business organizations as well as SAS integration with tools such as Active DirectoryImplementing security, governance processes for SAS productsUnix/Linux Shell Scripting LSF Administration.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust be able to work independently; proactively brings recommendations and solutions
