Job Summary

A Process Development Associate II is expected to assist other senior roles (scientists, senior scientists, etc.) in the planning and execution of experiments. This includes but is not limited to set up and preparation of reagents and instruments, as well as assistance during the experiment. Process Development Associate II will be expected to perform simple assays and procedures independently without direct supervision, but in close conjunction with established technical experts and project leaders.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Participate in research and development activities. May perform some procedures independently without direct supervision. • Assist other personnel in set up and planning of experiments. This includes set up of necessary equipment, and preparation of buffers and/or reagents. • Assist senior personnel and study groups in performing experiments. • Utilizes established mathematical and scientific techniques to compile and analyze data. • Actively record data and procedures to help write technical reports detailing protocols, outcomes, and observations. • Perform analytical testing to help characterize biological processes. • Contribute to process development and tech transfer reports. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or relevant technical degree required. • 1-2 years of experience in bioprocessing, biopharmaceutical, analytical, and/or product development. • Ability to actively contribute to moderately complex aspects of projects. • Can work both independently and collaboratively.
