Senior Statistician, Real World Solutions

Key Responsibilities

A statistician reviewer/lead will utilize their technical and soft skill knowledge to perform several lead and statistics-related activities, including but not limited to:

• Responsible for development and review of the statistical analysis plan (SAP) and shells
• Provide input and review specification of analysis datasets and statistical outputs (i.e., Tables, Figures, and Listings)
• Assist with protocol development, sample size calculation and case report form (CRF) review.
• Assist in the development of final study reports and presentation of study of findings including the creation of tabular (SAS production tables) and graphical output directly from study data.
• Works closely with the Project Team Lead and supervisor to deliver on time, with high quality and within budget. Build and maintain effective customer relationships, driving statistical discussions, providing support and/or guidance for statistical activities. Demonstrates and promotes efficient communication.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics or other relevant domains
• 2-5 years’ relevant experience or in a clinical trial environment (i.e. pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or contract research organization industries)
• Experience in programming and reporting with SAS or R
• Familiarity with moderately complex statistical methods that apply to applicable clinical trials.
• Prior project experience with real-world data is a plus. (including but not limited to electronic medical records, registry databases, and external insurance claims databases)
• Strong written/verbal communication skills. Highly effective at providing input at meetings, discussions and activities covering aspects of research data management and analysis on research projects.
• Fluency in English.
