Senior Infrastructure Engineer

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•            System administration, monitoring, upgrading, maintenance, installation, setup, configuration, testing and deployment of systems within Windows, Linux, ESX and Virtual environments.

•            Ensure security hardening of systems and critical patches are being applied as necessary.

•            Maintain security, Antivirus and business continuity strategies.

•            Ensuring the highest levels of applications and infrastructure availability

•            Managing backup/Restore operation.

•            Maintaining and configuring backup policies and redundancy strategies

•            Manage solution Disaster Recovery operations

•            Manage monitoring systems.

•            Implementation and integration of solutions involving Virtualization, Cloud technology, and workload orchestration into client (Data Center)

•            Manage relation and Work closely with Clients and 3rd parties on infrastructure related planning and operation

•            Generate and create reports/Documents for clients

•            Manage Disaster recover operations

•            Manage Relationship with vendors.

OTHER SKILLS:

•            Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering

•            6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure deployment, possessing expert knowledge in SAN, Cloud computing technology, server operating systems, and applications deployments

•            knowledge in databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB.

•            Good networking knowledge.  

•            Solid experience in Disaster recovery planning and operations.

•            Good Experience with Kafka, Elastic Search

•            Excellent communication skills & Passionate about technology and internet.

•            Solid experience in Load balancing and Clustering

•            Excellent written & verbal communication skills
