Job Summary We are seeking a Supervisor Mammalian Cell Banking for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Malvern, PA.
This role will supervise Cell Culture and/or Cell Banking personnel and the associated activities related to cell culture testing and/or banking.
The following are responsibilities related to SupervisorMammalian Cell Banking:
• Train the technical personnel in general cell culture laboratory skills, reinforce regulatory concepts (cGMP) and Cell
Culture specific laboratory techniques.
• Perform technical troubleshooting.
• Review and revise documents to ensure that the Cell Culture and/or Cell Banking laboratories maintain their
compliance status.
• Maintain budgetary responsibilities to include cost containment for laboratory supplies and accountability for
payables invoices.
The following are minimum requirements related to the Supervisor Mammalian Cell Banking position:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent in biology or related discipline
• Experience: 2-4 years related experience in a laboratory.An equivalent combination of education and experience
may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
• Certification/Licensure: None.
• Other: Demonstrated leadership skills required. Working knowledge of cGMPs or regulatory affairs pertaining to
the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries required.
