The following are the responsibilitiesandminimum qualificationsfor this role:

Design develop and implement Global preclinical marketing plans and programs to support business goals and objectives, and identify new opportunities to increase market share.

•Provide direction and leadership to events, creative and marketing support teams to generate maximum market awareness and ROI (value). Work with operations, sales and marketing staff to develop and implement strategies, portfolio development plans and positioning and messaging plans consistent with both corporate and business unit branding platforms.

•Manage the planning, organization and execution of marketing materials, brochures as well as other publications in support of company wide services, in alignment with other marketing team members.

•Participate in vision, strategy, organization and execution of corporate trade shows.

•Conduct regular sales trade show and market insight trips, including customer field travel with representatives.

•Participate in design, development and implementation of sales training programs.

•Research and analyze customer behavior to identify major factors influencing buyer behavior and to define the buying process.

•Assist with the development and implementation of tactical marketing plans to support and achieve overall CR business goals and objectives, with a special emphasis on value creation across our entire portfolio.

•Work closely with company and client scientists to identify opportunities to enhance and expand service offerings.

•Working with Business Analytics and Clients Services, prepare detailed competitive market analyses and strategic options to grow marketing share including modeling of alternative business scenarios.

•Identify and create synergistic marketing programs that cross product and business unit lines.

•Identify value added opportunities to strengthen financial performance of business. Develop valued-based pricing models.

•Participate in vendor selection management in the execution of marketing objectives.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Global Marketing Manager position.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in marketing or related discipline. Technical background preferred. MBA preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years related experience or equivalent in a combination of marketing, sales, product management, communications and business management positions within a technical environment (e.g., biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device company, hospital, or laboratory).

They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards. The functions are essential to providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness, to ensure ongoing functional innovation and capability improvement.
