Principal Financial Analyst

Parexel has an excellent opportunity for a Principal Financial Analyst to join our global team supporting business unit finance. The Principal Financial Analyst plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy while assisting business unit and/or global functional leaders to drive for results. The Principal Financial Analyst is responsible for partnering with business leaders, Vice Presidents/Directors, to support the achievement of their operational and financial goals. This role requires the ability to review complex financial data (corporate-maintained) in order to provide comprehensive and in-depth analysis.

The Principal Financial Analyst takes a leading role in the forecasting and budgeting processes for the business unit or functional area. This role requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to accomplish objectives with very limited supervision, while providing guidance/mentoring to finance professionals early in their careers to resolve complex issues.

Experience in month-end Close support or similar experience supporting a controlled accounting environment is highly preferable. Is a recognized expert within the finance organization and others, cross-functionallyQualificationsQualified candidates will possess:

Education & Experience

- BA in Finance or Accounting or relevant experience required

- Relevant and progressive Finance roles with strong analytical and partnering track record

Skills

- Prioritizes, sets expectations and works in an efficient and disciplined manner

- Thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment

- Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint applications; experience with financial performance systems (e.g., Hyperion)

- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail
