Objective:
This resource will provide leadership for the Digital Patient Suite, specifically related to strategy and cross platform integration. This resource will drive aspects of Strategy, Market & Roadmaps, and Solution Definition.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy, Markets & Roadmaps
Set the overall strategy and vision for a solution suite in partnership with executive sponsor and senior stakeholders.
Define the high-level success measures for the product suite.
Ensure that accurate roadmaps are maintained for all solutions in the product suite and monitor for risks and cross product dependencies.
Research and synthesize internal and external market requirements, market and technology trends along with a competitive analysis that feeds the product strategy & roadmaps
Provide guidance and oversight for business case development across the product suite, monitoring for risks and value is being delivered
Partner with Go-to-Market Team to effectively communicate the value proposition and messaging for the product suite, case studies, sales tools, and collateral.
Effectively communicate with customers, sales, marketing, development, and senior management as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Solutioning and Delivery
Work with senior stakeholders to define scalable and saleable solution suite to meet client needs
Drive and enable cross-team, inter-product collaboration and solutioning.
Provide guidance on end-to-end product suite strategy
Provide guidance and review of offerings-related activities, including scope of work, objectives, timelines, and quality of deliverables
Provide oversight and guidance for buy-build-partner analysis across product suite, and where necessary, review potential partner relationships.
Operational
Maintain accountability to P&L owner for product suite finances and periodic reporting on key metrics
Serve as a subject matter expert for the development team regarding key goals, and act as the primary liaison to senior stakeholders and executive sponsors, ensuring ongoing visibility to development progress.
Mentor and coaching in a quickly growing team that is key to delivering differentiating solutions for IQVIA
Experience & Industry:
8+ years of strategic leadership and product development experience
Experience with and knowledge of Clinical Development, Lifesciences/Healthcare industries. The candidate must be highly familiar with clinical development processes and roles well as be knowledgeable of regulation and requirements.
Experience designing and developing Software as a Service or Platform as a Service products
Strong track record of successfully deploying technology innovations to enable business growth
Experienced with leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.
High-level understanding of technology, data science and/or machine learning concepts, with the ability to convey to non-technical audiences
Experience with relevant platforms such as big data, analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, enterprise systems integration, hybrid and multi-cloud
Leadership
Proven leadership track record, organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics, with good judgment and ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
Communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good command of the English language
Ability to develop and champion robust business cases supporting the solution suite
Must be a strong writer and public speaker in front of large, senior groups.
Process & Tools
Understanding of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures, including agile approach
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and business stakeholders
Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Teams, SharePoint, JIRA, Aha and Salesforce.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or a related business degree. MBA preferred
Product or project management experience with models like PMI, Agile, and Pragmatic Institute
