Parexel's Genomic Medicine Team continues to delivery outstanding work to our clients, and the team is expanding! We are currently seeking a Senior Scientist, Genetics and Biomarkers, Vendor and Project Mgmt, Central Lab / Data Mgmt to join this great group!

In this role you will partner closely with one large global client and have the opportunity to deliver client projects where capability is used in delivering Biomarker and Genomic Medicine services. They may lead initiatives within the department and in their field of expertise. They will work somewhat independently receiving general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions in circumstances where they are being exposed to new concepts or responsibilities.

• Responsible for the operational delivery of one or more aspects of a client program or project to time lines, quality expectations and regulatory requirements

• Assists project leaders and or line management in assessing project resource needs with respect to areas of responsibility

• Responsible for quality of results in their area of operational delivery

• Effectively communicate with clinical trial sites, labs, and biorepositories on behalf of client and provide oversight of the return of tumor samples

• Utilizes project management tools to plan, track, prioritize and communicate timelines and deliverables to the project team and client

• Actively manages their own operational delivery to the agreed timelines

• Proactively investigates issues and recommends solutionsQualificationsSkills:

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience in pharmaceutical industry, CRO, or laboratory

• Therapeutic area experience in oncology preferred

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical clinical development

• Knowledge of EDC and Laboratory Information Systems

• Proficient in MS Office Suite

• Experience working with third party vendors preferred

Education:
